The managment was a bit manipulative they changed the accommodation status in booking just to increase the price and to book through them directly I kept checking the unit for 2 nights and then I find it at the end after that I realized that he is playing with the availability

There are certain reptiles like lizard or big size lizard can be seen on roof as place is surrounded by forest. However they are not harmful.

With room for improvement.

Good room size, good kitchen for dinner, overall lovely staff, the facilities are great-looking.

The ceiling of the building is made of thin zinc with no cushioning/padding to isolate noise, so if you are allocated to one of the upper room floors and you are a light sleeper, you will wake up in the middle of the night if it rains, and most intensely as it rains in Ubud. You will hear the metal clacking over your head. I asked the receptionist to change my room, but it was all "no, no, no". Then, the menu shows a selection of teas, none of which they had - just black tea (full of unhealthy caffeine). Even when I had asked for a mint tea on day one, and they said "no", they didn't bother to restock it during the 5 days I stayed there. Also no milk options other than animal-derived milk, so if you are allergic/intolerant or vegan, there are no options for you. Then, the last thing was to receive a telephone call in my room at 12.00.00 pm from the same "no, no, no" lady to inform me that I had to vacate the room immediately. Completely unnecessary, tacky and unwelcoming to do such a thing. We know we have to vacate, so allowing people at least 5-10 mins for them to leave the room would show a more professional attitude.

Good but I think some small changes would make it even better

The room was huge, staff were very friendly and helpful. It was conveniently located in Ubud, fairly close to the centre but also in an area that meant you could avoid some of the central traffic. The car to take us to the airport was very simple to organise and pretty reasonable price. Wifi was good enough for us to work from the hotel on business video calls. Pool was very nice. They will happily refill your water bottle for you. Good car park for the bike.

The bike they tried to rent us was very poor quality with bad brakes and it felt like it had been in an accident. The room was only cleaned when we asked for it to be cleaned. There was a dead cockroach in the corner of the room for a couple of days! Breakfast was terrible we didn't bother. I think it would be even better if they could provide you with a reusable, refillable bottle for bottled water which we got in a lot of other hotels. We kept going through the plastic bottles they provided which I don't like or having to go upstairs to get our bottle refilled. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable.

friendly staff, especially Putra. Renting of motorbike also very convenient. tv has netflix, plus point.

breakfast selection could be better and more variety. to provide repellent for mosquitoes. pool needs to be cleaned everyday due to leaves. bed has creaking noises.
